SITE CONTEXT

The site includes multiple parcels of land which are located within Queens Meadow, which is located south of Stockton Road (A689), to the south of Hartlepool. It also lies to the east of Greatham and west of the Tata Steel site. 


Queens Meadow is allocated for development in Hartlepool Borough Council’s adopted Local Plan (2018). The site also part of the newly formed Hartlepool Mayoral Development Corporation. 


Early phases of the development have already been completed to the north and west of the site and Queens Meadow is already home to established businesses and occupiers – including Pro-Pipe and Cleveland Fire Brigade Headquarters. 


The proposal subject to this consultation seeks planning permission to complete the later phases of development at Queens Meadow, including:
